No matter if you like them or not, Strife was definitely one of the leaders in the ’90s hardcore scene. With their recent demise, it would only seem reasonable to put out a collection of songs previously unreleased. Thus, Truth Through Defiance. Most of the album, however, is just really shitty early recordings of songs that the fans already own, which leaves me asking “why?” It doesn’t really matter, because this is going to sell like hell anyway.
