I don’t know if I should even bother with a review of this one. I have a feeling I could just give a list of names: Beastie Boys, Invisibl Skratch Piklz, Gang Starr, KRS-One, Q-Bert. In other words, raw talent. Beats of fury, scratches like gaping wounds, further evidence that a turntable can be a musical instrument. Mixmaster Mike. The man who (almost) saved the Beastie Boys from themselves. So, on Spin Psycle, he brings some tracks he’s cut with the above artists, just to name a few. Makes you wanna shake your butt, do the ass-slapping dance, etc. Give it a spin at your next party, and watch the clothes get shed!
