Now It’s Overhead – Review

Now It’s Overhead

(Saddle Creek)
by Tim Den

The bio basically writes the review: “Airy pop songs full of atmospheric sounds, layered breathy background harmonies, coronary beats, and soulful lead vocals.” Made up of members of Azure Ray, Little Red Rocket, and Bright Eyes’ live band/studio engineer, Now It’s Overhead sport a lush recording that’s full of melodic crevices for listeners to trace with their fingers. Nice tampering of pseudo-electronic beats and flashes of choirs top it off nicely.
