Poison the Well – Tear from the Red – Review

Poison the Well

Tear from the Red (Trustkill)
by Adrian Bromley

Poison the Well are indeed one of the premiere hardcore acts on the circuit these days, a band that manages to evolve each time out. A band that’s willing to take chances and make their music shine in a genre that’s often filled with cheap knock-offs and uninspired, recycled ideas. With more dexterity and variety than Opposite of December, not to mention melody, Poison the Well successfully take a leap forward. How many die-hard fans will follow depends on they’re willingness to follow the twists and turns in Poison the Well’s musical path.
