Death Cab for Cutie – The Stability EP – Review

Death Cab for Cutie

The Stability EP (Barsuk)
by Tim Den

Magnificent lucid-pop band plays it really quiet… walking away with a (surprisingly convincing) Björk cover and two stretched-out-like-taffy minimalist shoegazers. As always, top-notch lyrical exercises pepper the band’s melodic interplays, spitting out each metaphor like the last words of a dying man. Somber, affecting, moody stuff that shows an even darker side to the brilliance that is The Photo Album. Can this band do no wrong?
