ADZ – American Steel – Review

ADZ

American Steel (Steel Cage)
by Duke Crevanator

Balls-out rock’n’roll that caused the volume to go up with every track as I listened. You’ve got some pop-punk influence in the music, but thankfully beefed up in every facet to take it out of that genre. Plus, the lyrics are both funny and poignant and not sung like a sissy. To be honest, I was skeptical going in, due to the California roots (hey, I’m a New Hampshire scumbag, after all) but I came out a huge fan. Definitely reminded the old Duke of mid-’80s Redd Kross. That is the highest compliment I can give to any band of this type because I’ll worship Redd Kross ’til the day I die.
