Open Hand – The Dream – Review

Open Hand

The Dream (Trustkill)
by Adrian Bromley

You sometimes have to wonder why a band gets signed or why they don’t get signed… Open Hand are one of Trustkill’s new signings, and while I don’t mind their blend of post-melodic hardcore, I don’t really see the deal with this band. Their debut, The Dream, is comprised of two EPs and a new song. It’s an interesting spin, but their isn’t any real diversity in this collection of material. Trustkill evidently saw something in them, so all the power to Open Hand to take the support and make the best of it. I’ll be looking out for their progression to a proper full-length.
