Papercut Homicide – From Filth Comes Grace – Review

Papercut Homicide

From Filth Comes Grace (Retribute)
by Adrian Bromley

Pennsylvania’s Papercut Homicide‘s debut for Retribute Records, From Filth Comes Grace, is a mixture that few could pull off, skillfully meshing together elements of grind, thrash, noisecore, and sludge as skillfully as a chef assembles a seven-course meal. I hear elements of Cephalic Carnage and Acid Bath, for sure, but there’s a lot more going on here, as the band isn’t foolish enough to let their influences control their sound. Papercut Homicide vent their aggression through an onslaught of intense songs that never gets old or tiresome. This one’s a keeper.
