As I Lay Dying

As I Lay Dying could easily be lumped in with a slew of other bands out there meshing metal and hardcore. This is good for what it is, and they have the potential to do some damage, but the band is just not really giving us anything to latch onto. It all seems rehashed and overdone. No offense to As I Lay Dying, but bands like the incredible Darkest Hour and labelmates The Black Dahlia Murder do it much better. Sorry, but that’s the facts.
