Mournfully beautiful music that’d fit in a program that had Miles Davis’ “Kind of Blue,” John Cale’s “The Academy in Peril,” Kronos Quartet’s take on Phillip Glass’ “Company,” Bartok’s “Hungarian Peasant Suite,” and other plucked and sawed acoustic/trance/heart-tuggers I’m too dull to know about. It fits in this magazine by association and general set up; they have drums as well as violin, guitar piano, and bass, and play clubs.
