Embodyment – Songs For The Living – Review

Embodyment

Songs For The Living (XS)
by Tim Den

Embodyment have grown from a metalcore band into a smart, well-oiled radio rock machine that, unlike most of this mold, refuses to dumb down to their audience. There’s no condescending “rockstar” attitude or shallow, lowest common denominators, just soulful, introspective, huge hooks that reawaken the Far fan in all of us. At a time where hardcore kids are busy aping European death metal or whining like pussies, Embodyment have followed no one and developed into exactly what they want to be: A great rock band with stirring opuses.
