Badger Badger Badger – Review

Badger Badger Badger

by Chad Van Wagner

Not a site so much as an open invitation to a self-induced aneurism, Badger Badger Badger is one of those completely nonsensical things that sticks in your head, despite your best efforts to dislodge it with cheesy ’80s pop songs, narcotics, or, failing that, pliers.

The premise, if you’re feeling generous enough to call it that, is as follows: Dancing badgers. Sometimes, there’s a mushroom. Less frequently, there’s a snake. All of this is set to an infuriatingly “catchy” techno song that, for some reason I can’t quite put my finger on, reminds me of ’80s-era Wire.

The lyrics are as follows: “Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger Badger

Mushroom, Mushroom (X 4)

Snake, it’s a snake, ooooo it’s a snake. It’s a…”

(Repeat)

And I do mean “repeat.” “Repeat,” as in, it will just loop over and over and over UNTIL YOU TELL IT TO STOP.

I should probably mention that there is a link to a parent site known as Weebls Stuff, but none of it is as… um… good (?) as the badger thing.

If it seems strange that I’m reviewing one page, you haven’t seen the page. Great God in Heaven, make it stop.
