God Don’t Make No Trash, or Up Your Ass With a Broken Glass (Red Scare)

My least favorite of the Red Scare records, most of which reminded me how much I miss mid-’90s pop punk. Whoever wrote the bio has a sense of humor, and that’s always nice. Starts by listing supergroups like Cream, Damn Yankees, and Audioslave, then backs up and chuckles. Unlike other supergroups, these guys like each other and wanna tour, even on top of their regular touring schedule. Off to a better start than Pigface and Asia, the bio jokes. Heh. Ok, so this is five songs, 12 minutes, and it takes a while to get used to the vocals. I can’t describe them, so hopefully they’re on the mp3 CD so you can puzzle it out yourself. Ok, here’s what you wanted, the members-of list: The Lawrence Arms, Alkaline Trio, Broadways, Rise Against, and Slapstick.
