Nope, don’t get it. Girlie Action PR occasionally works stuff I’m very glad someone’s helping push out there to the mainstream, but chances are, it’s trendy, dancy indie that I hate, or trendy UK soulfunkelectro fizzle. This is the latter. I don’t know, nor have I ever met, anyone who’d think this doesn’t suck. And I know music lovers far and wide, deep and shallow. Bad soundtrack music? Weak jazz with electro salsa, not even COOL electro salsa, but real cheap, easy shit? Lame rap? “Soul” singing you can get in Cracker Jack box? Whatever.
