Friends & Nervous Breakdowns (Equal Vision)

The sticker on the cover warned me, but I checked out the hip-hop side project of Coheed and Cambria drummer Josh Eppard anyway. It’s as awful as it sounds. They’re touring with Gym Class Heroes, another indie band trying their hand at rap and failing badly. At least they’re touring together so they won’t half-ruin two other tours. Coheed and Cambria are pretty fine, especially considering they’re on a major now, and majors don’t know shit, and they were on Equal Vision, who people will support even if they release absolute shit, which they certainly have. Can we snip this rap side project thing right now before awful indie bands think we won’t beat their asses for it?
