This was (Danzig, Samhain) Eerie Von’s first band in NJ. He’s making a comeback, I guess, and good for him. People need to hear this kinda punk. These 25 song were recorded in ’82 and ’83. They’ve been remastered by someone who knows what they’re doing. The first song is 12 seconds long, and I’ve been in fights that lasted longer and did less damage… Previewing the punk bin ranges from modern soft stuff to street punk, but still, the loud, frantic, right-upfront blast of “What I Hate” made my jaw drop, and the song was over before I could reach for the CD case to see who the hell just suckerpunched me. Get ’em on the mp3 CD, just to make some of these sissy punks shit themselves when they casually click the track.
