OK Go is a perfectly pleasant mainstream powerpop band on a major label. They’re quirky and jumpy and make yer butt wiggle, like, I dunno, Weezer or any other band who likes the Cars. Your cool aunt with the fading tattoos who used to smoke pot in college probably likes these guys and plays ’em loud in her new VW bug. They’ve shared the stage with Kaiser Chiefs, The Donnas, The Vines, Fountains of Wayne, Phantom Planet, the Music, Maroon 5, Superdrag, and others just like them.
