Battle of the Common (Five Point)
by Gary Strack

Today’s cookie-cutter society has had a major influence on most bands over the past few years. We now live in an era where bands no longer have integrity, just a sound. This band sounds like that band, that band sounds like this band. However, Label The Traitor has their own identity. They confront both political and social issues with an “in your face” balls to the wall approach similar to Sick Of It All, Strike Anywhere, and Rise Against. Battle of the Common empowers listeners to stand up for their beliefs and be leaders, not followers. Label The Traitor have proven that hardcore can be melodic, yet catchy. An extremely solid debut.
