This is a novelty item, I hope, covers of jingles or something. I hope these aren’t “originals.” I recognize The Go-Go’s “Our Lips Are Sealed,” which is pretty easy to do decently, and these gals steamroll right through, regardless of any nuances the original tune might’ve had.

Someone please actually PLAY Descendents, Julianna Hatfield, and some ’90’s DC punk for whoever wrote the bio, then throw them out of a moving car. Grasping at straws like that’ll lose you a limb ’round these parts.

If you like The Eyeliners but they’re too spunky punk, and wish the Marbles were all perky Manda clones, maybe this is your thing. Give me the The Soviettes any day. They rock harder, faster, write better songs, and harmonize like crazy. Not to jump all over the band’s shit, but the bio makes ’em out to be the saviors of girl-punk, and they’re a new band getting their pink little toes wet.
