Still my least favorite Red Scare band, but that’s kinda like saying it’s a bad blowjob. A fun supergroup, and their first full-length, for those keeping score at home. Members of The Lawrence Arms, Alkaline Trio, and Rise Against: Chicago punk, in other words. Stakes are high there, and they make ’em smarter than yer average punk, so even a non-fave from Chi-town is better than most of what Epitaph is sneaking out these days without bothering to promote, probably so they can deny that they ever released such shit in “the dark days.” “Little Triggers” is a good tune, but just something about the Hamburgler vocals bug me.
