Therion‘s always been a blast, mixing cheesy power metal with full orchestration and choirs and Goth metal bombast. Female lead vocals seem to be more of a priority than previous siren tack-ons, and some new male vocal styles appear here as well, making it a different, yet generally familiar Therion outing. Fans of Napalm Records Goth metal, Cradle of Filth, and Manowar all should have a couple Therion releases in their collections. Long-time fans know this band always switches it up a bit to make it worth picking up the latest.
