While novel, this band has never been as captivating or original as Rasputina, so like Trans-Siberian Orchestra (who’re members of Savage), this band is essentially a cover band, as their reputation was bolstered by a cover album of Metallica tunes. On cellos. They’ve helped Amon Amarth and Sepultura and been in video games, but who hasn’t? Listenability vs creativity vs originality, if you catch my meaning. This slab features Till Lindermann of Rammstein, Cory Taylor of Slipknot, Dave Lombardo of Slayer, Adam Gontier of Three Days Grace, and Christina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil.
