The Tide and its Takers (Ferret)

From Alaska, two or three records on Roadrunner (none of which I reviewed), and now one on Ferret (who bat 40% at best). They opened for Killswitch Engage, just to clue you into where they’re at and what they’re about. They’re essentially nü metal, no more and no less, and while Shadows Fall and KSE might’ve squeaked into mainstream appeal with their limited bag of tricks, 36 Crazyfists just doesn’t have the dexterity to be more than some metal band outta Alaska that doesn’t suck polar bear balls.
