Glad to see someone is still making this stuff, even if it is completely unexceptional. If you remember Atari Teenage Riot, and maybe were cool enough to hear about the movie (soundtrack and kick-ass inspired-by mash-up) Threat, you’ve heard the best of “digital hardcore,” most of which was on ATR’s Alex Empire’s Digital Hardcore Recordings, aka DHR. One last band to namedrop is Japan’s The Mad Capsule Markets, whose one killer album was released twice, by two labels in the States, and STILL no one caught onto them. That one’s been in my faves pile for over ten years, and no band has topped it yet.
