Metallic-produced punk, often gritty and rough-voiced, yet sometimes frantic and catchy, like Strung Out. Their mid-’90s punkpop is what attracts me the most, cuz gritty street punk is tired and beaten into the ground, and very, very few can breathe new life into a “life is hard” stance understood long before any of the bands on the tee shirts these guys own even existed.
