Portland’s Starfucker (STRFKR) have released their brand new video for “Julius” off of their sophomore album, Reptilians (Polyvinyl). Watch it at YouTube, the Consequence of Sound premiere or Vimeo. Directed by Jason Miller (who has also directed videos for Of Montreal, Major Lazer and Rusko) the adventure of Julius is filmed as a young protagonist’s quest to save a princess in captivity. As he journeys into the western terrain a cloaked STRFKR performs from a foreboding alcove in the forest.

STRFKR just finished an extensive national tour with Casiokids, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Brahms, and We All Have Hooks For Hands. They sold-out the majority of their shows, Blurt noting, “Seeing the quartet live, it is no wonder the majority of their shows have been sold out, STRFKR sounds great live.” They had three amazing final homecoming performances in Portland following two Seattle dates. Seattle Weekly raved, “what’s undeniable is that they’re one hell of a lot of fun to see live.” STRFKR will continue  to engage live audiences making their first notable festival appearances this summer including sets at San Francisco’s Outside Lands and Canada’s Sled Island.
