Absolute Punk offers free download of new song from Let It Happen

The Ohio based pop-rock quartet, Let It Happen is offering their single, “Hide and Seek” entirely for free on Absolute Punk. The band worked with producer Bryan Beeler (Chiodos, The Swellers, Cinematic Sunrise) to create their new tracks, which are already being compared to the likes of Jimmy Eat World and Paramore. Let It Happen is Drew Brown (Lead Vocals), Sean Highley (Drums), Michael Vogel (Lead Guitar), and Nathan Joiner (Bass). The band hopes to bring a positive light to a new generation through their music. Highley explains how “Regardless of age, life is complicated, and our generation is coming of age in a complicated time. Our music speaks to that.”
 
Lead Vocalist, Drew Brown, elaborates by explaining how music was the only outlet that made him optimistic as a kid. His goal with the band is simply “to return the favor that so many bands did for me and be there for a lot of kids, give them something they can relate to, and let them know they’re not alone. ”
 
After years of playing in various Metal and Hardcore bands around Cincinnati, these four Ohio musicians decided to drop all other projects and focus on writing and performing the type of music they were truly passionate about – pop-rock. Thus forming Let It Happen in the summer of 2009. The band quickly went to work writing and performing in venues around Cincinnati, gaining praise from critics and fans for their memorable melodies and unguarded lyrics.
 
Since their formation, the band has shared the stage with Hit The Lights, The Swellers, Balance and Composure, Fireworks, Polar Bear Club, and many others. Marking the release of their new EP, the band was chosen to be featured on the punk/rock tastemaker blog, Property of Zack.
