Kevin Barnes, Kishi Bashi, and session musician friends of Kishi’s record the least one-man-show of Montreal album yet, but it’s exploding with ideas barely pursued. Fragmented would be polite. “Dour Percentage” isn’t a whimsical title, but there’s something about chickens mentioned in the layered ’60s harmonies and flutes and falsetto.
