Fishbone Releases First Full-Length In Over Two Decades + Summer Tour

Stockholm Syndrome, the long-awaited ninth studio album from legendary genre-bending band Fishbone, has been released! Their first full-length LP in two decades, the album is a blistering return to form — equal parts funk, punk, ska, soul, and righteous fury. Stream it here. See the video for “Suckered By Sabotage” premiering at Vice.com here. Check out the Track by Track on PunkNews here.

Fishbone is fronted by the irrepressible Angelo Moore and longtime creative force Christopher Dowd, alongside a revitalized lineup including bassist James Jones, drummer Hassan Hurd, trumpeter/vocalist John “JS” Williams II, and returning guitarist Tracey “Spacey T” Singleton. With the world seemingly on fire, Fishbone sounds more necessary than ever. Stockholm Syndrome tackles racism, economic disparity, state violence, media manipulation, and spiritual survival with fearless lyrics and feral energy.

Stockholm Syndrome speaks to today’s fractured world with the wisdom, fire, and funk only Fishbone can deliver. Now available digitally, on CD (featuring the bonus track “My Gawd is Your Gawd”), and on red vinyl in several editions: solid red at Fishbone.com, red with white splatter at independent retailers, and red with black splatter at all tour dates—while supplies last. Fishbone continues their live takeover this summer on the Summer Circus Tour with Less Than Jake, Suicide Machines, Bite Me Bambi and Catbite and select stops of the Vans Warped Tour 2025, including Long Beach and Washington, D.C.
