“There Goes My Brains” is a quick little basher from Kitchen Lover. It breathes old school Bowery punk. There’s a Jon Spencer rockabilly voice thing going on with singer/guitarist Lars, and the track features a deft breakdown. All this and they’re from England (Brighton). A new act, this is the band’s most immediate song. If they were around back then, you might’ve seen them opening for the Cramps or Johnny Thunders.
