The Leechers’ “Molotov Mocktail” is a bouncy, garagy, gazy guitar song, with hushed vocals buried in the mix. The band is from Leeds, famously the locale of a certain live Who record, and have released a few singles/EPs which skewer more toward dream pop than this release. The title “Molotov Mocktail” fits the song because it doesn’t hit you like a bomb, but a warm, fuzzy thing you can wrap yourself around while nursing a pint or whatever your poison.
