Skinema – Review

Sadly, Skinema isn’t the online version of that book that listed whether or not a particular actress got naked (what was the name of that book, anyway?). No, this is a site devoted to… well, let’s let our webmaster speak, shall we?

“As a dermatologist and a film buff, I’ve found a series of skin conditions featured in movies. You may look at movies in a new way.”

website-skin2Yeah, maybe. OK, it sounds ridiculous, but it has a borderline cheesy sense of humor that I can’t help liking. (“What evil lurks in the hearts of men with pale skin and no hair? We’re not sure, but it seems to be a syndrome: Albinopecia!”)

As you may ascertain from the above quote, this guy definitely knows his stuff. Which means that Skinema is actually a lot more interesting if you approach it as a novel way to read up on weird skin conditions. I mean, if you can blow three hours dorking around on the Net looking for gay fan fiction, why not wander over to Skinema and put some actual knowledge in that gray matter? Just don’t let the cathode rays from your monitor dry out your T-zone.
