Death metal with hints of Swedish melodic metal, but far too straightforward death to be confused with Dark Tranquillity or In Flames or anyone else. Brutal, gloriously-produced, and catchy in their straightforward way, but not dynamic enough for me, a fan of melody, breakdowns, flourishes, perhaps a few harmonies or angelic counterpart to break up all the grrr. This is the kinda band you love on a comp, then discover the whole album is the exact same as the one great song that hooked you.
