Strange mix of “hey, cool” with “wow, that’s awful.” Part melodic punk, part screamo, part emo, someone shoulda really convinced them to work on these tunes a little more before recording and releasing this debut. 12 songs is about eight more than they have ready. The others seem like first drafts, hastily recorded, lots and lots of missed notes left in cuz there wasn’t time to do it right.

A real shame, because the four songs that don’t suck are damn fine. If this was a four-song EP, I’d be praising this killer new band. But as it is, there’s this new band that can’t tell the difference between a great song and a real turd, and no one helped them out before they released this CD to the ever-critical public.
