Another pie, another slice. The borrowed tune on this one’s a good one from the second Dead Boys album, “3rd Generation Nation,” done up with the zim and zigor.
Tragically stupid name for a pretty decent heavy metal band. I had a chinchilla once. Absolutely useless thing, but cute. Woulda made a nice pair of gloves.
Kinda thin-sounding. The solos and fills are all right upfront (and that’s the main reason to fall at this band’s feet), but there’s just nothing brutal here.
The three EP tracks are old school industrial and worth a few spins, and for those into remixes of more popular/less interesting material, there’s plenty.
Cause For Alarm never strayed from their fast, furious, and political identity throughout their two decades of existence, even as the band changed members.
Refusing to write catchy stoner rock anthems, instead preferring art-damaged collages of thick smoke-choked riffs strafed with Dorrian’s nuthouse roar.
