Cause For Alarm – Nothing Ever Dies 1982-99 – Review

Cause For Alarm

Nothing Ever Dies 1982-99 (Victory)
by Tim Den

The final release from one of NYHC’s torchbearers. Cause For Alarm never strayed from their fast, fun, furious, and political identity throughout their two decades of existence, even as the band constantly changed members. Nothing Ever Dies: 1982 – 1999 compiles some of the band’s best tracks and two unreleased songs, from the raw to the really raw. All a growing kid could ever ask for was a CBGB’s matinee with Cause For Alarm, Agnostic Front, and Warzone, and now we’ll have to sadly settle for one out of three.
