Not only do the bands here convincingly do the late ’70s rock-with-attitude shtick, they manage to squeeze in old school ska and ’50s rock’n’roll as well.
Beautiful layout and concept, great bands like Braid, Rainer Maria, Very Secretary, Ida, Ethel Meserve, and Aspera Ad Astra – how could it go wrong? It does.
Metalcore set to fast punk beats, you know it’s Victory at work again. Some good stuff here, particularly by No Innocent Victim, Vision, and Agnostic Front.
If nothing else, ya gotta love Re-Constriction’s style. Though none of the bands here truly do justice to the songs they cover, it’s not for lack of effort.
This comp swings a huge horse dick of walloping smut that pulls from bands you may not recognize yet, but will if you have any interest in organic meta-spew.
