Greatdayforup writes snappy and memorable songs, surprisingly so for a heavy rock band, and stomps the fuck out of them with a brutally heavy non-metal attack.

From Cleveland, third release (last one on Man’s Ruin), not too hardcore roar, not too stoner drone, strong, dry vocals, and a nice, thick, bassy groove.

“You Get it Easy” is a catchy tune based on Bowie’s “Heroes,” which is a good one to lift when using “new wavy” rock vocals and a stripped-down nu-garage push.
