With two bonus tracks, the running total is now four songs, 50 minutes. If ever there was a band that deserved the title “doom rock,” Electric Wizard is it.
Painfully, excruciatingly slow. How do people play this slow? I’ve heard and liked other Cathedral stuff, but I don’t remember it being quite so, well, slow.
A thick, crunchy, bottom-heavy sound that rocks hard with an emphasis on the groove. Never thought a band with a guitarist named Nigel could beat this much ass!
For those of you who are curious about all of this heavy/desert/stoner rock stuff that you’re hearing so much about these days, this is the perfect CD for you.
