Pennywise announce an East Coast trek for this fall with support on various dates from Circle Jerks, H2O, Murphy’s Law, Angel Du$t, The Dopamines, and DFL.
DFL, the iconic ’90s hardcore band featuring Monty Messex, Adam Horovitz aka Ad-Rock of the Beastie Boys, and skater “Crazy Tom” Davis, reissue My Crazy Life.
It’s “Old Fashioned Hardcore,” as they describe it, like Dischord, circa 1981 (like Void) or the Gang Green and FUs (I’m talkin’ the reeeaaally short songs).
DFL was awesome, yet the crowd had no response. I would like to apologize to DFL, on behalf of the State of Connecticut, for the audience’s lack of enthusiasm.
They’re old school punk/hardcore with blitzcore energy and humor. Sometimes they suck big donkey dick. Produced (kinda) by Adam Horovitz of the Beastie Boys,
