A prime piece of rancid cheese like “She Said” or “Goo Goo Muck” sends the creepy-crawlies up your spine leaving something disgusting in your unmentionables.
A good stab at HĂĽsker DĂĽ’s Land Speed Record in intensity. It’s more punk than hardcore, and a very refreshing glass of youthful angst on this hot sunny day.
I’d’ve liked to’ve heard a bit o’ the tight-as-a-monkey’s-fist piccolo snare (á la The Specials) in “Monkey Boogie,” but it’s still a butt-wagging ska ditty.
It’s “Old Fashioned Hardcore,” as they describe it, like Dischord, circa 1981 (like Void) or the Gang Green and FUs (I’m talkin’ the reeeaaally short songs).
