Glorious production, layered harmonies, metal as rich as Strapping Young Lad, yet more like his melodic solo stuff. Strong, clean singing and keyboard work.
The style is more Meshuggah than Hatebreed. The roar is immense, the guitars compressed and precise (they’re Swedish, duh), and the drumming mind-boggling.
Debut from Richmond VA’s noisemakers. Not my specialty, so I’ll just rattle off some toured-withs: A Life Once Lost, The Acacia Strain, Misery Signals.
Third release, first properly distroed, from this Spain melodic death band. Like Opeth and Dark Tranquillity minus the genius. Also like Rapture, who I dug.
