The notes say “Pat” was a founding member of Weezer. They also say “Atom” was in Rocket From The Crypt for ten years. This is their record.
Hear the bands you’ve heard everyone talk about, and spit at the shit bands that, for some reason, are cheered instead of beaten up in the parking lot.
Drawing on snappy stuff from the Dictators, MC5, Springsteen, U.S. punk, garage rock, cool indie stroke saddle-up, this thing’s ready to take you for a ride.
This comp nails it. Unlike Now That’s What I Call Shitty Music: Volume Four Billion, How We Rock compiles 19 hotshots and whatnots both trendy and “classic.”
Another Year on the Streets Volume 2 is pretty easy to summarize. Everyone knows which side of the fence they’re on, so why don’t I just point to the fence?
It’s Troma, so unless you rent only from Blockbuster, you know this is some sexy, gross, weird and wild shit. Get this soundtrack cuz every band is a someone.
It’s the kind of stuff that makes your blood boil. The kind of stuff that makes you wonder how some people can remember to breath when they’re this stupid.
Wanna know what all the fuss is about? Check out this comp to see what all us entirely-too-fuckin’-hip fuckers are praising, damning, and bickering about.
