I can’t find much fault with Out Of Bounds. The songs are filled with catchy hooks and lots of breaks, and the vocals are very slick with nice harmonies.
I hate calling punk songs pretty, but sometimes Good Riddance comes close, and “A Credit to His Gender,” featuring Cinder Block (Tilt), is a perfect example.
There are a lot of ska-core bands out there, and Out of Order is one of the best. Some of the songs on Eye Caramba are straight-up ska, like “Retribution.”
MU330 don’t write the best melodies, but they do write great music to go underneath those sometimes disappointing vocals, so it sort of balances out in the end.
Some established ska acts like Mephiskapheles and Ruder Than You, as well as some newer bands such as Less Than Jake (my favorite), and Mock Turtle Soup.
