Grind Ring

Can you say GRRR?! After being plugged into a computer for seven hours straight, Scott asked me to review this demo. Last thing I wanted to do! But he did go to the store to get me butts, so I guess I owed him. I plopped onto the floor and he pressed play. I can say honestly that I was instantly kicked in the teeth by the powerful vocals. At 4:30 in the morning, that’s quite an accomplishment. They definitely have their shit together because the four songs that I heard, I’ll probably voluntarily hear all day tomorrow. The vocals are intense and filled with anger. Not stupid, regurgitated anger, but real anger. Just what I needed! The drummer also has a keen knack of pounding a severe beat into your hungry brain. Chow down! Unfortunately, I hear the band is currently looking for a new guitarist, but with the right guy, and the right ears, this band is definitely going places. Including my tape-deck.
