Trashcan Sinatras – at The Hatshell – Review

Trashcan Sinatras

at The Hatshell
by M&M

Trashcan Sinatras formed in Cilmarnil, Scotland in 1987. Their latest release, I’ve Seen Everything, has been getting attention in the Boston area, thanks to tunes like “Hayfever,” which can be heard on ‘FNX regularly. They set this mood, like being out there in left field, but not to the extent of being mesmerized. Seeing them live at the Hatshell just intensified it all. On a day that felt as if the sun was about two feet away from the Earth, they pounded out energetic tunes that kept the sweaty fans bouncing. The band is young and vital, with the power to spirit you away into the moods they create. Their clever rhythms hint at a Black Sabbath, Beastie Boys upbringing. Trashcan Sinatras continue to tour and to mystify in their unique way. Peace.
