Toetag – Reality – Review

Toetag

Reality (Cherrydisc)
by Scott Hefflon

Finally! A dose of Reality from Toe Tag. They were actually able to pull off capturing the raw energy of their live show and put it in a cellophaned package. Their shows always leave me bruised and wishing I could stomach sitting through nice safe classical symphonies. This new release captures the highlights of post Slayer, post SlapShot, all-out New School hardcore. With straight from the streets politics and influences such as White Zombie stomp, Kerry King feedback, slow monster mosh, and speedcore mayhem, this is the essential hardcore home edition. It crosses the boundries between metal and ‘core and back again without selling out either. Just don’t play this one when lots of company is over if you value your furniture.
