You Can Save The Animals

50 Things To Do Right Now
by Dr. Michael W. Fox & Pamela Weintraub (St. Martins)
by Aaron Dalbec

Three dozen rabbits sit in a cage with burning eyes and burning skin as a result of the Draize test. A test that is performed on rabbits to see the irritation level of chemicals, and new products. After two weeks, the final rabbit dies from his chemical intoxication of the LD50 test. A test performed in which they inject a chemical into the animal and wait to see how long it takes for 50% of them to die. Boycott fur, boycott Loreal, boycott experiments on animals. These are just some of the many ways to save the animals. In this book, they tell you many ways in which you can help. Some people may say “I don’t even have time to help myself.” It doesn’t take more than a split second to do some of these things. As you read this book, you’ll see that it’s a lot easier than you think. If you don’t save the animals, you’ll die along with them.

As I was reading this book, I learned many new things to do that can help the animals. This is very well-written book, and explains everything thoroughly, which makes it easy to read for the people who are just starting to read about animal rights. If you care even just a little about animals, this is something to read.
