This album doesn’t completely suck. But the music relies too heavily on what’s been done. If you still haven’t gotten enough of that mid-’80s metal sound, pick this one up, ’cause guys like Dee Snider aren’t gonna let it die. Stand By For Pain keeps the metal torch burning until Metallia, the Metal Goddess, awakens to bring spandex, two foot hair, and Her music back into mainstream fashion.
