Having strong ties with both Boston and Texas, it’s not surprising to hear guitar-oriented pop, Boston style, mixed with Texan twang. The songs utilize violin, organ, piano, mandolin, and non-gratuitous backing vocals by Juliana Hatfield. This is a masterpiece of mournful pop.
